Montana Lawmakers Consider Sexual Assault Bill

This week, Montana’s Law and Justice Interim Committee is scheduled to meet and discuss updating Montana’s sexual assault laws, including updating the definition of sexual consent.

“We want people to know very clearly what is required for consensual sexual relationships and to help people, both men and women, avoid getting into situations that could cost someone their freedom,” said Senator Diane Sands, who carried Senate Bill 29.
